Explore Datapeople's Requisition Progress Report
Datapeople's Requisition Progress Report focuses on the activity of a single requisition from creation to closure. It can answer questions like:
- How many job posts have we published for this requisition?
- How many applicants have applied to this requisition so far?
- What is the gender representation of this requisition's applicant pool?
- From what sources are applicants applying to this requisition?
- What is the pass-through rate of candidates for this requisition?
You can access your Requisition Progress Reports from three different libraries:
- Draft Requisitions will show you all requisitions that are categorized as Drafts in your ATS.
- Open Requisitions will show you all requisitions that are categorized as Open in your ATS, regardless of the status of the job posts connected to the requisition.
- Coming Soon: This will include requisitions categorized as On Hold in your ATS, though On Hold requisition will be filtered out by default and can be viewed by toggling the On Hold filter to include On Hold requisitions.
- Closed Requisitions will show you all requisitions that are categorized as Closed in your ATS, regardless of the status of the job posts connected to the requisition.
Note: All requisitions that are categorized as Templates in your ATS will be hidden from all Requisition Libraries.
Each Requisition Progress Report allows you to navigate to all job posts that are connected to the requisition by clicking the job post in the Job Posts section.
And each job post allows you to navigate to its Requisition Progress Report by clicking the "View Req Report" button.
The report includes a table detailing the activity of the requisition's applicants.
Candidates are resolved into four statuses:
Rejected Candidates were removed from the recruiting process by the company for reasons such a lack of qualifications or ineligibility of employment.
Candidates who dropped out decided on their own not to proceed with the recruiting process for reasons such as disinterest in the role or having accepted an offer elsewhere.
Commenting is also available in the Requisition Progress Report, though in a slightly different way than in the Smart Editor.
The comment log is still present, but it is collapsed behind the large comment icon on the top right.
- Comments can be made in two ways
- via opening the comment log and entering a comment directly into the log
- by selecting the comment icon on the analytics widgets.
- When a comment is entered from a widget, the comment will transfer to the comment log
- In the comment log, a screenshot of the widget at the time the comment was made will be captured and displayed below the comment for context.
- Comments entered from widgets will not be accessible when your re-open the comment icon on the widget. Comment icons on widgets only allow for new comments to be created and all entered comments will be located in the comment log at the top right of the page.
- Comments are linked to a requisition report via its url which does not change when the status of the requisition changes, so comments will remain attached to the report even when the requisition becomes closed.

- Users on the hiring team will already have access to the report, but the Share e-mail can be used to draw attention to the report.
- So can commenting with mentions!
- Non-Admin users who are not on the hiring team will not be able to access the report UNTIL it is shared with them through the Share button
- If a non-Admin user who is not on the hiring team is mentioned in a comment on a report, they still won’t be able to see the report until it is shared with them.
- Sharing a job post with a user will NOT automatically give them access to that job post’s Requisition Progress Report and sharing a Requisition Progress Report with a user will NOT automatically give the user access to all related job posts.

- If a non-Admin user who is not on the hiring team is mentioned in a comment on a report, they still won’t be able to see the report until it is shared with them.
Why don’t I see a job post in my requisition report's job post table?
Job posts need to be synced to a requisition in your ATS to show up in their respective Requisition Progress Report, so any posts written in Datapeople Anywhere or drafted in Datapeople will not automatically have a Requisition Progress Report. Once they are synced to a req in your ATS, they will show up in a Requisition Progress Report.
Grayed-out jobs indicate job posts that are present in your ATS, but are not editable in Datapeople. These are likely mixed-language or non-English jobs.
Why don't I see the Requisition Progress Report link in my job post?
If you do not have access to a Requisition Progress Report, the View Req Progress button will not show up on the job post. Someone on the hiring team or an Admin will need to share the report with you for the link to show up.
Can I view or filter the Requisition Progress Report by job post attributes (location, posting status, editing status, score, etc)?
- Requisition Progress Reports show data for the entire requisition. Most ATSs are unable to decipher, for requisitions with multiple job posts, which applications came from which individual job post. Job posts merely act as a funnel to drive applicants to the requisition, so applications are connected to requisitions, not job posts. Therefore, filtering by job post attributes (location, posting status, editing status, score, etc) is not a feature of the requisition reports.
- Requisition Library assignments are based on status of the requisition, not its job posts. You will only ever see a single requisition report per requisition. A requisition report will remain in the Open Requisition Library as long as the requisition itself is open (regardless of any of its job posts' statuses) and will only move to the Closed Reqs library when the entire requisition in closed .
The applicant counts aren't matching my ATS.
While some data updates run every 12 hours, the requisition reports still allow you to track general recruiting progress on your requisitions. If data doesn't seem to resolve itself within 24 hours, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager and we'll be happy to help.
Why am I receiving a warning on the data table?
A warning on the data table flags that there are candidates in your process that are not being reflected in the data table because there has been a delay in their stage mapping in our system. This should resolve itself in 24 hours, but please contact your customer success rep if that is not the case.
