Explore Datapeople's Job Performance Report

The Job Performance Report, an Actionable Insights report, identifies live jobs that can be better optimized for performance on job boards.

Datapeople's Job Performance Report

The Job Performance Report is your single source of truth when it comes to surfacing live jobs that need a bit more polish to perform their best on external job boards. This report gives you and your team the intelligence you need to quickly and easily make changes.

Here you'll be able to see high-level metrics about:
  • the percentage of eligible live jobs are missing reporting structure (i.e., who the candidate will report to)
  • the percentage of live jobs with titles that include confusing words or seniority
  • the percentage of eligible live jobs that are missing years of experience
  • Percentage of live jobs that include preferred requirements
  • Customers that are integrated with an ATS will also be able to see the name(s) of the recruiter(s) assigned to that job in the "Recruiters" column

The report allows you to:
  • go directly to any job in this list simply by clicking its title
  • easily share these jobs with the assigned team members for remediation
    • Select the job(s) using the check boxes
    • Click the purple Share button at the top right of the jobs list
    • Select a user to share the job(s) with and add an optional message. The selected user(s) will receive an email linking directly to the selected job(s):

How to update a job's performance issues:

Since these are published jobs (not drafts), once you've made the necessary updates, you'll need to re-publish the job posting in one of the following ways:
1. For ATS-integrated customers: Go to the job in Datapeople, hover over the "Job" menu at the top left, and select "Open in [your ATS]." Make the necessary adjustments, then republish the job from your ATS.

2. For customers using Datapeople Anywhere (our browser extension): Using the same "Job" menu, select "Duplicate" to create a new Draft of the job. Make the necessary changes, then use Datapeople Anywhere to drop that new content into the existing job within your ATS.

3. For non ATS-integrated customers: Find the job in your ATS by searching for its title or Req ID, make the necessary changes, and republish.

More things to know about the Job Performance Report:

1. It's updated in real time: Unlike some of our other reports that require pulling information from your ATS, the Job Performance Report is based on the content of the job description alone. This means once a job has been updated to include the missing content, it will be removed from this list.
2. It includes only Published jobs: Since your Draft jobs will naturally be missing some content at times--they're works in progress, after all--the only jobs surfaced in the Job Performance Report are those that are out in the world and visible to job seekers.
3. It identifies only relevant jobs: Some types of jobs--like junior-level or internship roles--don't need to list years of experience, so these jobs aren't surfaced in this report.

4. It's sortable: Jobs in the report are sorted by "Most Issues First" by default. Use the button at the top right to change this to Newest First, or to sort by issue type (years of experience, job title, or reporting structure).

5. It's downloadable! To download the Job Performance Report into a CSV file, click the download button at the top right:
