Explore Datapeople's Compliance Report

The Compliance Report, an Actionable Insights report, identifies open jobs that are missing one or more key pieces of content where required by law.

Datapeople's Compliance Report

The Compliance Report is your single source of truth when it comes to surfacing non-compliant jobs, giving you and your team the intelligence you need to quickly and easily make changes where they will most impact your recruiting and compliance efforts.

Here you'll be able to see high-level metrics about:

  • What percentage of your open jobs are missing core pieces of content--salary information, diversity statements, and accommodation statements
  • A full list of those non-compliant jobs
  • Customers that are integrated with an ATS will also be able to see the name(s) of the recruiter(s) assigned to that job in the "Recruiters" column

This report allows you to:

  • Go directly to any job in the list simply by clicking its title
  • Sort by issue type
  • Easily share these jobs with the assigned team members for remediation
    • Select the job(s) using the check boxes
    • Click the purple Share button at the top right of the jobs list
    • Select a user to share the job(s) with and add an optional message. The selected user(s) will receive an email linking directly to the selected job(s):

How to update a job post's compliance:

Since these are published jobs (not drafts), once you've made the necessary updates, you'll need to re-publish the job posting in one of the following ways:

1. For ATS-integrated customers: Go to the job in Datapeople, hover over the "Job" menu at the top left, and select "Open in [your ATS]." Make the necessary adjustments, then republish the job from your ATS.

Open in ATS

2. For customers using Datapeople Anywhere (our browser extension): Using the same "Job" menu, select "Duplicate" to create a new Draft of the job. Make the necessary changes, then use Datapeople Anywhere to drop that new content into the existing job within your ATS.

3. For non ATS-integrated customers Find the job in your ATS by searching for its title or Req ID, make the necessary changes, and republish.

More things to know about the Compliance Report:

1. It's updated in real time: Unlike some of our other reports that require pulling information from your ATS, the Compliance Report is based on the content of the job description alone. This means once a job has been updated to include the missing content, it will be removed from this list.

2. It includes only published jobs: Since your draft jobs will naturally be missing some content at times--they're works in progress, after all--the only jobs surfaced in the Compliance Report are those that are out in the world and visible to job seekers.

3. It identifies jobs that are missing key pieces of content where required by law: This means that even if your company has enabled Style Guide settings requiring salary to be included on every job, you won't see jobs here unless they're missing salary info and are based in a geography that mandates salary disclosure (such as New York City or Colorado).

4. It's downloadable! To download the Compliance Report into a CSV file, click the ".csv" button at the top right:

5. It's sortable: Jobs in the report are sorted by "Most Issues First" by default. Use the button at the top right to change this to Newest First, or to sort by issue type (salary, diversity statement, or accommodation statement).
