"Your job post has been open too long." What does that mean?

For most job search engines (like LinkedIn or Indeed), when candidates search for jobs, more recently posted jobs are prioritized in the search results over older jobs. This has a direct impact on the candidate pool your jobs attracts.

In our data, about 80% of the applicants to a job are typically received within the first 30 days. After that, there's a smaller trickle of candidates.

When needed, we recommend organizations repost jobs after 60 days to improve the performance of the job post in search results, ensuring you have the best chance to attract qualified candidates.
