Datapeople Anywhere: Troubleshooting

If your Datapeople Anywhere (Chrome extension) is not working, try these steps first.

Update the extension

While Chrome will usually update your extensions automatically, you should check to see that you are using the latest version.

  1. Start Google Chrome.
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon on the browser toolbar.
  3. Select More Tools -> Extensions.
  4. Toggle on "Developer mode" in the top right.

Developer mode toggle

  1. Near the top left, click the “Update” button.

If there is a newer version of our extension than the one you are using, it will update.

Ensure Datapeople Anywhere is turned on

  1. Using the same instructions from above, navigate to More Tools -> Extensions
  2. Ensure the Datapeople Chrome extension is toggled "on."

  3. Select More tools -> Extensions.
  4. Click the "Remove" button by Datapeople Anywhere.
  5. Reinstall using this link.
  6. Refresh the page.

Enable third-party cookies

  1. Start Google Chrome.
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon in the browser toolbar.
  3. Select Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Third-party cookies.
  4. Select an option: Allow third-party cookies.
  5. Refresh the page where you expect to see Datapeople Anywhere.

Interference from other Chrome extensions

At times, some extensions that block your identity can interfere with the functioning of Datapeople Anywhere, or prevent it from appearing on your ATS page at all. If you are using any of these (a Google Analytics blocker, for example) try toggling that other extension off to see if it solves your problem.
