Why can’t I see all categories/questions from our candidate survey(s)?
Datapeople's Demographic Survey Report focuses on the standard demographic survey questions/categories federally-recognized by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
- Datapeople reporting focuses on gender and race data.
- Disability and veteran status are considered sensitive information, and are typically collected and reported in a way that respects confidentiality and legal requirements. Datapeople will not include disability or veteran status in reports in order to protect individuals' privacy, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain best practices for data protection.
- Because custom surveys have the potential to ask questions about other sensitive information, Datapeople will not ingest data from or report on custom surveys.
- Datapeople maps gender and race responses to the federally-recognized categories in the U.S.
- ex. If your organization includes a “non-binary” option in your gender demographic section, Datapeople will map this to “Other,” as it is not a reported category for the EEOC.
- Datapeople has chosen to map responses to federally-determined categories to keep our reporting standard across customers and to avoid ingesting sensitive data.
