Cannot update job error
If you see this error, it means our system has detected that the job post you're trying to update is unable to be edited. This could happen for 4 reasons:
- The job post was deleted.
- The job post that you're trying to edit is confidential according to your ATS.
- The job post contains non-English content (which we do not support).
- The job post is restricted for other reasons including being based in a location which we are contractually required to exclude.
If you think this is in error, please reach out to our Support Team with details.
Job lookup error
We see these errors when we can't location a job that matches the ID that your ATS is giving us within our database. This could happen for 2 reasons:
- Timing: The job has been recently created and our systems haven't had a chance to import the data.
- ATS integrations typically take 15-30 minutes to import or sync jobs.
- If you are non-integrated, our crawlers run once a day.
- Filtering: The job was excluded from import based on certain attributes. These are typically contractual requirements, such as restricting access based on locations or supervisory organizations.
If you'd like to know which of these scenarios applies, please reach out to our Support Team with details.
If you would like to edit the job, we recommend you use the Write page to create a new job draft and copy the content into the ATS fields.
Template load error
There could be a few different reasons for this error:
- We had an intermittent issue with our server while processing your request"
- Refresh the side panel by navigating away from and back to the Write tab (for example, to the Home tab) and resubmit your request.
- You don't have any active templates to use when creating a draft job post:
- You can remedy this by reaching out to your organization's Datapeople administrators and request they make a template active.
- Alternatively, you can reach out to our Support Team so they can reach out to your organization's Datapeople administrators on your behalf.
Requisition not found error
Requisitions are fetched every 15-30 minutes from your ATS. If you don’t see a requisition after 1 hour, please reach out to our Support Team with details.
Non-editable job error
When job content is not able to be edited in SuccessFactors, it is typically in an approval workflow where it is being restricted from any form of change. Unfortunately, there isn't anything that Datapeople can do because the underlying issue is with SuccessFactors. Please reach out to your SuccessFactors administrator if you think this is in error.
