Requisition Progress Reports for Lever
Don't let the name fool you!
For Lever customers, the Requisition Progress Report provides analysis on individual Lever job postings.
Datapeople's Requisition Progress Report provides insights on individual requisitions, allowing you to assess their performance during the recruiting process. For many ATSs, a requisition is the open job to be filled, while a posting is the external representation of that job.
Requisitions have two other important functions:
- They define permissions and specifically the hiring team.
- They act as the unit of organization for applications.
In Lever, job postings connect job content to applications and hiring team permissions.
Moreover,
- job postings can belong to multiple requisitions, making it difficult to know which requisition to attach a candidate to;
- job postings can belong to no requisitions;
- not all Lever users have access to the requisition feature;
- requisitions are not mandatory;
- requisitions primarily create metadata that connects your HRIS to Lever.
- We plan to reflect more of this metadata in a future version of the Requisition Progress Report for Lever customers.
Lever has a more in depth resource on the difference between postings and requisitions, and how to maintain good data hygiene between the two here.
Because of these differences, even though it's still called the Requisition Progress Report, the Requisition Progress Report for Lever customers provides reporting on individual postings.
