ATS Filters
Only available for integrated customers.
Some filters are translated from your ATS into Datapeople through your integration. These may be standard default (i.e. fields inherently required by definition of the integration), or custom (i.e. select fields enabled by users in an ATS and supported by the Datapeople integration).
How are my ATS fields translated into Datapeople filters?
Filters powered by ATS fields provided to Datapeople through your integration are a direct reflection of the data entered in your ATS. Datapeople does not transform or alter data behind an ATS-based filter. This ensures Datapeople Libraries and Insights reports are consistent with the information residing in your ATS.
What ATS-based filters are available to me?
When you’re filtering jobs in Datapeople, you’ll see two types of ATS filters: Standard and Custom. They’re displayed differently in the app because of how they’re set up in your ATS.
Standard ATS Filters
These appear directly in the Filters side panel in Datapeople. They include common fields your ATS requires you to fill out when you generate a job requisition.

Custom ATS Filters
Custom filters are filters that come from your ATS, but are handled a little differently than your general ATS filters: Custom filters don’t appear in the Filters side panel. Instead, if you have any Custom Fields enabled (determined by your Datapeople Admins), the Custom Filters button will show. Clicking it opens a modal with the available custom filters.
These are often categories your team requires you to include in the requisition generation process. They can include things like:
- Requisition Type (backfill, evergreen, new role)
- Hiring Initiative flags
- Approval Stages or Business Priority
- Cost Centers
Your Datapeople Platform Admins decide which custom fields are enabled in Datapeople.
Datapeople Admins can enable or disable them in the Settings Menu.
